I know this sounds too good to be true but the Japan Tourism Agency is trying to bring more visitors back into the country post earthquake and tsunami.  The agency plans to use 14.3 million of their 2012 budget to fund this program.  There is of course a catch, you have to blog or use other social media to report on your experience, and you will still be responsible for the meals and accommodations,  But is that really such a terrible trade off for a free round trip flight to Japan?

The Roku box allows for those of us who don't have a web enabled TV to stream instant media such as Netflix, Hulu, Pandora and other services, the cheaper version remvoes the SD expansion slot and also doesn't have the bluetooth capability.  But it's not a bad deal.  You can purchase from http://www.roku.com/and http://www.amazon.com/ , if you are a prime member you automatically get free 2-day shipping. 

Facebook has finally released an app optimized for the iPad. I've downloaded it and it is a drastic improvement over the Facebook for iPhone app.
